Rexford A. Darko

Rexford Darko is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Universal Merchant Bank since August 2021, Rexford previously held the position of Head of IT and Cluster Head of Technology for WAMZ at Ecobank Ghana Limited from September 2011 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure to support customer-oriented services. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Support Manager at Standard Chartered Bank from January 2007 to September 2011, overseeing systems support across West Africa, and holding the role of Networks Engineer at Tara Systems (GH) Ltd from September 1995 to February 1998, focusing on the design and installation of network systems. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School and a B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology.
