Samuel Sakyi-Hyde

Samuel Sakyi-Hyde is the UMB Director for Consumer Banking. He joined UMB in 2019 from uniCredit Ghana Limited where he served as the Chief Executive Officer.

He has over twenty-three (23) years’ banking experience in Financial Services Management, Rural Banking, Credit Risk Management, Domestic Operations, Business Development, Retail and SME Banking, Internal Audit, Treasury Management, Trade Finance, Corporate Banking and Project Management.

Samuel has previously worked with Ga Rural Bank Limited, Amalgamated Bank Ghana Limited (now Bank of Africa) and uniBank (Ghana) Limited (now CBG Limited), where he occupied various managerial positions and introduced several initiatives which stimulated the growth and value of the banks’ retail and SME customer base and credit portfolio.

He holds an International MBA in Banking and Finance and Risk Management from the Business School Netherlands.
