Matt Kroepel has a diverse range of work experience in the music industry. Matt started their career at Beggars Group as a Coordinator for Tour Marketing & Sales Promotion, where they solicited physical retail stores and updated the website. Matt then moved to EMI Music, North America, as a Manager of Tour Marketing. In this role, they synchronized promotional plans for various platinum-selling artists and played a key role in delivering a Billboard #1 record for Katy Perry's Teenage Dream. Matt later joined Universal Music Group as a Director of Tour Marketing and worked with labels such as Astralwerks, Blue Note, Harvest, and IRS Nashville Records. Matt strategized promotional tours, produced label-specific events, and curated the label-wide SXSW Music Festival showcase. Matt also worked at The Bowery Presents, where they handled box office operations, production, and merchandise. Most recently, they joined Universal Music Group Nashville as a Director of Tour Marketing.
Matt Kroepel attended Webster University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing & Advertising.
