Carlos Escalona Cruz

Carlos Escalona Cruz is an accomplished music industry professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Director of A&R for US Latin & LATAM at Sentric Music Group since October 2022, Carlos has also been the Founder and CEO of Hit Music 21 since March 2012, where notable achievements include securing licensing agreements for major projects. As a songwriter and music producer for Universal Music Group, Carlos composed "Me Gustas Tanto" for Paulina Rubio, which topped Billboard Charts. Additionally, Carlos has served as an advisor for The Recording Academy's New York Chapter and has held managerial and music director positions at several other companies, contributing significantly to artist development and music production.
