Joseph McCrossan

Joseph McCrossan is an experienced executive in the media and technology sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Media Management & Technology and Head of Video Services at Universal Music Group since October 2019. Prior to this role, McCrossan held significant positions at Twentieth Century Fox from April 2007 to August 2019, including Senior Vice President of Advanced Technology & Engineering Group, where technical leadership was provided for home distribution and content protection. Earlier in the career, McCrossan was a founding member of Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, playing a key role in the creation of the Blu-ray Disc format. McCrossan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Law from the University of Strathclyde, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
