Lay Vakil

Lay Vakil is currently serving as Manager of Brand Partnerships & New Business Development at Universal Music Group since January 2023. Previously, Lay worked at Only Much Louder from January 2021 to January 2023 as a Junior Associate in Brand Solutions and the Global Creator Network, handling brand briefs, account management, and campaign execution, along with an internship focused on creator-led digital content marketing for clients such as Bacardi, Tinder India, and Netflix India. Additional experience includes an internship at EYP Creations Pvt Ltd, assisting with strategic marketing plans and artist signings, and a role at ACIES where Lay collaborated with a private sector bank on performance reporting automation. Lay's career began as a Campus Ambassador for Paytm, fostering partnerships with Nirma University. Lay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nirma University, graduating in January 2020.
