Nadir Contractor

Nadir Contractor is a seasoned executive in the music industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy & Business Development at Universal Music Group since January 2012. Nadir has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Vice President of Digital Strategy & Business Development and Vice President of Commercial Affairs. Prior to Universal Music Group, Nadir was Vice President at MusicQubed, an innovative digital music startup, and held various senior director positions at Sony Music Entertainment and Sony BMG, focusing on media ventures and marketing in Europe. Nadir began a career in the music industry as a promoter at Mean Fiddler and has an extensive educational background, including an EMBA from NYU Stern and the London School of Economics, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Physics with English from Queen Mary University of London.
