Nia Angelina Samir

Nia Angelina Samir, a seasoned cybersecurity professional with numerous certifications including CISSP, GCITP, GWAPT, GCFE, and SSCP, has been with Universal Music Group since March 2013, currently serving as Vice President of Global Insider Threat Management. Nia has led initiatives to enhance collaboration among stakeholders and strengthen the organization's defenses against insider threats, utilizing technology and training. Previous roles at Universal Music Group include Sr. Director of Global Insider Threat Management, Director of Application Security and Forensics, Global Service Engineering Manager, and Sr. Software Engineer, contributing expertise in forensics, penetration testing, and application security. Nia's career also encompasses significant software development experience at TECHNICOLOR ANIMATION PRODUCTIONS and the CureSeach National Childhood Cancer Foundation, and technical consulting at IBM Global Services. Nia holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, complemented by education in Information Systems Security and Information Technology Management.
