Pepe Ferrer

Pepe Ferrer is an experienced professional in the music industry, currently serving as the Metadata Enhancement Manager at Universal Music Group since December 2020, where responsibilities include optimizing metadata for the UMG Classics catalogue and leading a project to improve composer and artist IDs. Prior to this role, Pepe held the position of Digital and Data Optimiser for Global Classics & Jazz at Universal Music Group, focusing on tagging and curating classical and jazz repertoire. Pepe's experience also encompasses a role as Royalties Coordinator for Catalogue and Classics at Warner Music Group and Music Manager at nkoda, processing major publishers' catalogs and delivering music programming. An internship as Concerts Coordinator at Chineke! Foundation provided foundational experience in live performance management. Pepe holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths, University of London, and two degrees in Violin Performance from Eesti Muusikaakadeemia and Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castellón.
