Albert van der Merwe

Albert Van Der Merwe has extensive work experience in the logistics and distribution industry. Albert most recently worked as the Head of Customer Service and Distribution at Universal Paper and Plastics since May 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Fleet Manager at Mobax Group from June 2019 to May 2021. From May 2013 to May 2019, they held the position of Operations Foreman at Macsteel Service Centres SA (Pty) Ltd. Albert also worked as a Fleet and Operations Manager at Value Logistics from January 2012 to April 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Regional Transportation Supervisor at Ampath Laboratories from June 2009 to December 2012.

Albert Van Der Merwe studied Transport Management and obtained a Diploma from the University of Johannesburg.
