Barbara DeWoody has extensive work experience in environmental health and safety. Barbara is currently the Senior Vice President at Universal Destinations & Experiences, where they oversee global environmental, health, and safety initiatives. Before that, they held the position of Vice President in the same company. Prior to joining Universal Destinations & Experiences, Barbara worked at Universal Orlando for many years. Barbara served as the Sr. Director of Environmental, Health & Safety from 2004 to 2011, Director from 1997 to 2004, and Manager from 1995 to 1997. Barbara'scareer began at SE Technologies in 1988, where they worked as an Industrial Hygienist, providing a wide range of IH evaluations, analysis, and recommendations to clients.
Barbara DeWoody obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Safety Engineering from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1984 to 1987. Barbara also holds a certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, although the dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
