Christopher D. Geiger

Christopher D. Geiger, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Industrial & Systems Engineering at North Carolina A&T State University. In 2004, they joined the University of Central Florida as an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering, eventually becoming an Associate Professor. During their time there, they also served as the Director and Associate Director of the Modeling and Simulation Graduate Program. In 2014, Geiger transitioned to Universal Orlando Resort, where they worked as a Senior Manager of Business Development & Quality Engineering. Christopher D. was responsible for implementing mathematical and simulation modeling techniques to improve operational efficiency and business growth. In 2016, Geiger joined Universal Destinations & Experiences as the Director of Business Analytics & Industrial Engineering. Furthermore, Geiger has held various leadership roles at the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, including Senior Vice-President of Regional Operations and Regional Vice-President for the Southeast Region. Christopher D. Geiger, Ph.D. completed their education in the field of Industrial Engineering. In 1987, they began their undergraduate studies at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Christopher D. then pursued further education at Purdue University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, graduating in 1995. Christopher continued their academic journey at Purdue University and completed their Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering in 2001.
