James Fichera

James Fichera is a skilled UX/UI Designer with extensive experience collaborating with international teams at Universal Destinations & Experiences since November 2019. Previously, James contributed to startups such as Ready Set Recover and LinkPT, where responsibilities included defining user interactions and information architecture. Early work included roles as a User Experience Designer for Manager Sal and Dinner Thyme, focusing on understanding business goals through stakeholder interviews. Prior experiences also encompass a JET Program Coordinator role at the Consulate General of Japan in New York, and as an Assistant Language Teacher through the JET Program. James holds a Certificate in User Experience Design from General Assembly and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Asian Studies and History from Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, respectively.
