Austin Barker

Austin Barker has over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Global Creative Content at Universal Pictures since September 2000. Prior to this role, Austin held the position of Executive Director at Miramax from 1997 to 2000 and worked as an Executive Assistant at The Walt Disney Company in 1996. Austin began a career in journalism as a Television News Reporter at WEEK TV from 1994 to 1995 and at KSNT Channel 27 & KTMJ Fox 43 from 1993 to 1994. Austin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from the University of Arizona between 1989 and 1993.
