Evan Langweiler

Evan Langweiler is Executive Vice President, Global Communications and Media Relations for Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG). In this role, he is responsible for executive communications and media relations for UFEG, driving communication strategies related to studio initiatives, worldwide box office reporting, industry events, as well as crisis management. Langweiler partners with communication teams across the UFEG portfolio including Focus Features, DreamWorks Animation and the studio’s creative partners.

Langweiler joined Universal in 2010 and has held several communications leadership roles overseeing the Studio’s global media relations strategy. He began his career with NBCUniversal as a NBC Page in 2007 before moving into a role with NBC Corporate Communications in 2008.

Langweiler received his B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
