Swinkels' previous roles at Universal Pictures include Executive Vice-President International Distribution and Managing Director UK and Eire. Prior to joining Universal Pictures, Niels Swinkels was Managing Director at Independent Films Netherlands BV and held marketing positions at Universal Pictures Benelux BV and Polygram Filmed Entertainment B.V. Niels Swinkels holds degrees from Radboud University and attended the University of California, Berkeley, furthering marketing expertise in the entertainment sector.
