Amin Abolghasemi

Lead Mechanical Engineer at Universal Quantum

Amin Abolghasemi has a diverse work experience, with roles in both academia and industry. Amin is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at Universal Quantum since March 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford starting from May 2021. From September 2018 to June 2021, they worked as a Lecturer at Oriel College, Oxford. Amin also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford from February 2017 to March 2021. Before their academic roles, they worked as a Research Analyst at CAMFRIDGE LIMITED from September 2011 to August 2012, where they were responsible for developing a 2D CFD code to simulate heat transfer in magnetic refrigeration technology.

Amin Abolghasemi completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Amin then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in the year 2011. Later, Amin went on to undertake a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computational Fluid Mechanics at Imperial College London, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
