Jean-Pierre Hathout

Jean-Pierre Hathout serves as the President of Universal Robots since May 2025, following a tenure as President of Mobile Industrial Robots A/S from May 2023 to May 2025. Prior to these roles, Jean-Pierre held the position of President at SIT Controls USA, Inc., managing the SIT group’s operations in North and South America from July 2017 to May 2023. Jean-Pierre's extensive career at Bosch from 2000 to June 2017 includes roles such as Board Vice President and Vice President of R&D, with responsibilities spanning commercial air conditioning and regional management in Asia-Pacific. Jean-Pierre holds a Doctor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science from Cairo University, and a Bachelor of Science, also from Cairo University.
