Rune Larsen

Rune Larsen is an experienced software developer currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Universal Robots A/S since January 2020. Prior to this role, Rune held academic positions at DTU Management as an Associate Professor and at DTU Transport as an Assistant Professor and PostDoc. Rune began a research career at the University of Southern Denmark, initially as a Research Assistant and later as a Ph.D. student, focusing on optimization methods for real-life scheduling problems. Rune holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Syddansk Universitet, awarded in 2012, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the same institution, completed in 2007.
