Nilesh Mejari

Nilesh Mejari is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the insurance sector. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. since November 2020, Nilesh oversees the Finance and Administration department. Previously, Nilesh held multiple executive positions at Munich Re India Branch and Cigna TTK Health Insurance Company Limited, where responsibilities included financial accounting, taxation, and initiating major projects like Oracle upgrades and GST implementation. Nilesh's career began in 2001 and includes significant contributions at prominent organizations such as Future Generali India Life Insurance, Bharti AXA Life Insurance, and ICICI Prudential, demonstrating expertise in financial planning, accounting, and investment management. Nilesh holds a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai.
