Richard Secola

Richard Secola has a diverse work experience in the metallurgy and supply chain field. Richard started their career at Kennametal as a Co-op from May 2008 to August 2009. Richard then joined Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc in January 2011 as a Process Metallurgist and subsequently held roles as a Staff Metallurgist, Senior Staff Metallurgist, Technical Services Manager, and Supply Chain Director. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Supply Chain & Purchasing.

Richard Secola has a strong education background in engineering and material science. Richard obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, Richard pursued a Master of Science degree in Material Science and Engineering at the same university, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Richard has also obtained several professional certifications. In May 2022, they completed various procurement and sourcing-related courses through Coursera, including "Global Procurement and Sourcing Specialization," "Procurement Negotiation," "Strategic Sourcing," "Supplier Management," and "Supply Market Analysis." Furthermore, in May 2021, Richard received the "Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft. These certificates showcase their commitment to continued professional development and expertise in procurement and sourcing.
