Alexandra Waldman has over 20 years of experience in the fashion, business, and media industries. Alexandra began their career in 1998 as the Fashion, Arts & Entertainment Editor at The Japan Times. In 2001, they moved to ING Securities as the Head of Research Publishing. Alexandra then joined the Renaissance Group in 2006 as the Global Head of Marketing. In 2013, they became the Managing Director, Global Head of Marketing & Public Affairs at a Startup Hedge Fund. Most recently, in 2014, Alexandra co-founded Universal Standard, an e-commerce fashion brand focused on modern, elevated essentials for women size 00-40. As Creative Director, they are committed to delivering quality apparel directly from manufacturer to consumer.
Alexandra Waldman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University, majoring in English Literature and Comparative Linguistics.
