Kala Raman

Kala Raman possesses extensive experience in stage management and operations within the entertainment industry. Currently serving as Front Desk Staff at Barry's since November 2024, Kala previously held the role of Stage Manager/Operations at Universal Studios Singapore since December 2009. Notable experience includes a position as Stage Manager at Dubai Parks and Resorts in 2016, where Kala established operational standards for a new theme park and implemented documents and procedures to enhance safety and efficiency. As Assistant Stage Manager at Resorts World Sentosa, Kala demonstrated leadership by managing a team of coordinators and performers. Earlier freelance experience includes roles as Light Designer, Props Master, and Stage Manager from 2003 to 2009. Kala holds a Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from LASALLE College of the Arts, completed in 2008.
