Marissa Garner

Marissa Garner has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. Marissa started their career as a Part Time Fencing Coach at Savannah Fencing Club in 2008. In 2011, they worked as a Freelance Sequential and Concept Artist at Piensa Art Company, and also as a Part Time Receptionist at Carolina Eye Ear Nose and Throat. Marissa then became a Freelance Artist, working on illustration, comics, and graphic design projects while running their own business on Etsy called "Shards of Color".

In 2012, Marissa interned as a Creative at Walt Disney Imagineering where they worked on various projects, including the refurbishment of the Disney Magic Oceaneer's Lab for the Disney Cruise Line. Marissa also worked as a Leased Contractor for Walt Disney Imagineering, handling concept art, painting, storyboards, show set design, and production art.

Marissa then joined RGH Themed Entertainment as a Concept Illustrator, where they started as a freelance consultant and concept artist before being converted to full-time. Marissa also worked at The Hettema Group as an Illustrator, Storyboard Artist, and Assistant Art Director for various media projects.

In 2014, they worked as a Freelance Consultant at Eleventh Hour, working on projects for Walt Disney Imagineering in Tokyo. Marissa joined Universal Studios Japan (USJ LLC) in 2017 as an Art Director. Throughout their career, Marissa has demonstrated their skills and expertise in illustration, concept design, storyboarding, and production art.

Marissa Garner obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sequential Art from Savannah College of Art and Design from 2006 to 2011.
