Joe Corrall

Joe Corrall has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quality assurance and testing. Joe has held various leadership roles in different companies, showcasing their ability to drive improvement and deliver high-quality results.

Joe's most recent position was as the Head of FQA at Universally Speaking, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sorted Group as the Head of Quality Engineering from 2021 to 2022. In this role, Joe successfully established a formal QE practice, recruited exceptional talent, and built a world-class test automation framework.

Before joining Sorted Group, Joe held the position of Head of QA Engineering at Flooid from 2014 to 2021. During their time there, they oversaw the transition from manual to automated testing and revitalized the department by implementing training programs and strategic interventions.

Prior to their role at Flooid, Joe was a Test Manager at Flooid from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they set the benchmark for the Test Manager position, delivering outstanding communication, metrics, and quality management to customers.

Joe's career also includes roles such as Senior Tester at PCMS from 2014 to 2019, Lead Tester at Transversal from 2011 to 2014, and Web Systems Tester at Spiral Software Ltd from 2010 to 2011.

Additionally, Joe gained experience as a Web Developer (part-time) at Industrial Inkjet Ltd. from 2005 to 2015, where they managed the company's website and handled localization into different languages. Joe also served as the Lead QA for the FunOrb team at Jagex from 2007 to 2010, where they were responsible for process development, training, planning, and direction.

Joe Corrall attended Coventry University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a BSc 1st Hons degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Selenium WebDriver with Java & Cucumber BDD from Udemy in November 2020, AgilePM Foundation and AgilePM Practitioner from APMG International in July 2016, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in December 2015, ISTQB Software Testing Advanced Test Manager from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in March 2012, and ISEB Software Testing Intermediate and ISEB Software Testing Foundation, both from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, in February 2011 and November 2010 respectively.
