Carlos E. Salazar-Mejía

Carlos E. Salazar-Mejía, MD, currently serves as an Associate Professor of Oncology and Clinical Researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León since March 2014, focusing on genitourinary tumors and clinical research protocols. In addition, Carlos holds the position of Chief Resident in Research at the Hospital Universitario "Dr. José Eleuterio González," where mentorship and research opportunities for residents are emphasized. Carlos has also been practicing as an Oncologist at Doctors Hospital since March 2021 and previously served as the Medical Director of Oncology and Infusion at AR Salud Integral until March 2023. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Molecular Oncology, a specialty in Medical Oncology, and a specialty in Internal Medicine, all obtained from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, along with a degree in Medicine.
