Ph. D. Ernesto Torres-Lopez

PH. D. ERNESTO TORRES-LOPEZ is a highly experienced researcher and professor at UANL since 1984, specializing in virology, immunology, and biotechnology. Notable research areas include viral infections, active viral particle isolation, and the study of various viruses, such as HSV-1, Dengue, and HIV. Additionally, ETS offers administrative expertise as the Internal Administrator of the Immunology Service at Hospital Universitario and has a prominent role in clinical antibody production and allergy testing. Previous experience includes a sabbatical research position at Harvard School of Public Health and postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School focused on recombinant vaccines and viral characterization. ETS holds a Ph.D. in Immunovirology from Harvard Medical School and has contributed significantly to academic and scientific advancements in the fields of immunology and virology.
