Marco Antonio Abastoflor Portugal currently serves as a Collaborating Instructor at the UNESCO Chair in Tourism and Sustainable Economic Development since December 2022 and as a Board Member of the Pan American Confederation of Schools of Hotel Management and Tourism since October 2022. Additionally, since July 2012, Marco has held the position of Head of the Tourism Administration Program at Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo. Previously, from January 2010 to July 2012, Marco worked as Planning Manager at Metanoia Virtual Education. Marco is pursuing a Doctorate in Tourism at Atlantic International University, with prior qualifications including a Diploma in Sustainable Tourism from Universidad de Salamanca and a Master's in Virtual Education from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar.
