Dr. Luis Rojas

Dr. Luis Rojas is a full-time academic professor at Universidad Católica del Norte since September 2016, focusing on Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. Rojas leads the analytical services laboratory accredited under ISO-17205 and is involved in various research projects while also supervising both undergraduate and graduate theses. Previous roles include directorship at Centro de Investigación Científico Tecnológico para la Minería and positions as a young researcher and postdoctoral researcher at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, specializing in environmental chemistry with a focus on bioremediation and instrumental analysis. Dr. Rojas holds a Doctorate in Chemical Sciences from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and a degree in Biochemistry from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
