Vice Rector of Quality Assurance & Institutional Analysis at Universidad de Las Américas (CL)

Carlos Mujica R. holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Universidad de Chile; Ph.D. in Natural Sciences, University of Stuttgart, Germany, and Postdoctorate from the Max Planck Institute, Germany. More than a dozen Fondecyt projects have been awarded, it has developed around 40 scientific publications in its discipline and two invention patents. In 2001, he became Academic Vice-Rector of the Universidad Católica del Norte, in 2011 as Academic General Director of Viña del Mar University, and in 2012 as Academic Vice-Rector of Andrés Bello University. In 2007, he joined the Presidential Advisory Council for Higher Education.
