Ricardo Berckemeyer D.

Ricardo Berckemeyer D. holds a degree in Economics, Universidad del Pacifico, Lima-Peru. Master of Business Administration in General Management and Finance from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill), the United States, an institution where he was also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society of the Kenan-Flager School of Business. He participated in the Executive Program in Strategic Management at the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has a long history in executive teams in various companies, with a focus on operational management, and the development and execution of strategies. With extensive experience in higher education, he served for 18 years at Laureate International Universities, reaching the role of President and Chief Operating Office globally, A position that allowed him to be in charge of the management of various universities in Latin America, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Prior to his role at Laureate, he held various executive roles for Citigroup and for 7 years at Aetna International.
