Cristina Alfonzo

Cristina Alfonzo is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in language education and curriculum development. Currently serving as a profesora at ULPGC since September 2014, Cristina has also contributed significantly to the Instituto Confucio from 2014 to 2021 as a profesora de ELE and tutor of practices. Between July 2017 and July 2018, Cristina held the position of Jefa de estudios at ELE USAL GRAN CANARIA. In Venezuela, Cristina was a profesora universitaria at Universidad de Oriente from October 2001 to January 2011, where responsibilities included coordinating the Department of Spanish and leading the Department of Humanities. Cristina holds a Máster en Didáctica de ELE from Universidad Nebrija and a Doctorate in Spanish and its Culture from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, among other educational qualifications.
