Mariana Rozo-Paz is a seasoned professional in policy, research, and project management with extensive experience in the data governance space. Currently serving as the Policy, Research and Project Management Lead at the Datasphere Initiative since July 2022, Mariana leads the Youth4OurDataFuture project and engages in cross-organizational policy work. Mariana also lectures at the Universidad de Los Andes, teaching a course on "Bots, Metaverses and Public Policy," and co-directs the School of Government's Tech and Policy Lab. Prior roles include contributor to the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society research sprint on digital identity, project and fundraising officer at Data-Pop Alliance, and researcher at various institutions including Universidad de los Andes and Stanford Law School. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law from Universidad de los Andes, a graduate-level specialization in Data Science and Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and participation in the KU Leuven Summer School on Artificial Intelligence.
