Javier Enciso

Javier Enciso is an experienced professional in the fields of web development, software engineering, and academia. As Presidente of Enciso Systems since January 2020, Javier leads the development and operation of websites for advanced astronomical observatories, serving notable clients such as ESA/Hubble, ESA/Webb, NOIRLab, and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Concurrently, Javier has held positions at the European Southern Observatory as a Web Developer and Web Content Assistant since April 2009, where responsibilities include managing astronomy-related website content. As a lecturer at Universidad de los Llanos, Javier teaches Software Project Management and Software Engineering, having led academic missions to Shanghai and Silicon Valley. Previously, Javier worked as a Software Engineer at CODALTEC, overseeing Scrum practices. Educationally, Javier holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
