Javier Pinzon

Javier Pinzon is a seasoned professional in the fields of economics and international development, currently serving as the Founder of C4i - Connecting for Impact since October 2022. In parallel, Javier holds the positions of Director of the Commercial Diplomacy Research Group and Professor of Commercial Diplomacy at Universidad del Rosario since January 2022. Javier's previous roles include significant contributions as an Executive Representative for ProColombia in the Netherlands and Foreign Investment Representative for Central Europe from March 2013 to October 2022. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at the OECD Development Centre and the Ministry of Finance's Economic Research Department, along with a Business Development Analyst position focused on forestry investments. Javier's academic credentials include multiple master’s degrees in Development Economics and International Development from Lund University and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as well as a master’s degree in Economics from The University of Bonn and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Heidelberg University.
