Luis Bustos

Luis Bustos is a seasoned academic and researcher in the field of mining and energy law, currently serving as a docente and investigador académico at Universidad Externado de Colombia since January 2009. Responsibilities include supporting various research initiatives within the Department of Mining and Energy Law and coordinating educational programs for the sector. Luis Bustos has also contributed to doctoral and master's level research at Universidad Panamericana and University of Dundee, respectively, and held various roles, including coordinator and legal researcher, focusing on public policies and legal disputes in environmental law. Previous experiences include positions at Fiscalía General de la Nación and IOM - UN Migration Agency. Luis Bustos holds advanced degrees, including a Doctorate in Law from Universidad Panamericana and an LLM in Mineral Law & Policy from the University of Dundee.
