Arantxa Zapico

Arantxa Zapico serves as a Cryptography Researcher at the Ethereum Foundation since April 2023 and as an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Professor at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba since May 2023. Previously, Arantxa worked as a PhD Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from October 2018 to October 2022, covering subjects like Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, and Cryptography and Security. Arantxa's experience also includes a research internship at the Ethereum Foundation in early 2022 and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie + INPhinit Research Fellowship at Fundación "la Caixa" from October 2018 to October 2021. Arantxa began the academic career as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba from March 2017 to February 2018. Arantxa holds a PhD in Computer Science from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (October 2018 - October 2022), a Licensee in Mathematics from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (2012 - 2017), and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Stirling (January 2015 - June 2015).
