María Teresa Nicolás Gavilán is the current Academic and Innovation Vice Chancellor at Universidad Panamericana in México. The Panamerican University, commonly known as UP, is a private Catholic university founded in Mexico City. Our mission at Panamericana is to educate people in a way that inspires them to seek the truth and commit to it, promoting Christian Humanism and thus contributing to the construction of a better world. We currently offer 76 undergraduate programs and more than 181 graduate programs, with more than 16,500 undergraduate and graduate students, attended by 2,948 professors (38% with doctorates) of which 283 are full-time. We have 213 agreements with foreign institutions and 1,409 student participations in subjects taught by foreign professors in the last year.
