Octavio Palomino Saavedra

Octavio Palomino Saavedra is an experienced professional in investment management and finance, currently serving as the Director de Inversiones at Seguros del Estado S.A. since April 2018. In addition to their corporate role, Octavio has held several academic positions, including Professor Asociado at Universidad Piloto de Colombia and Director of the Specialization in Finance at Universidad del Magdalena. With a strong educational background that includes an Executive MBA from IE Business School and a specialization in Finance and Capital Markets from Universidad de La Sabana, Octavio's expertise is further complemented by extensive experience in financial advisory roles and asset management since 1996.
