Marcelo Braga

Marcelo Braga is a distinguished academic and practitioner in the field of theater, currently serving as a Professor Doutor at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi since February 2016, where oversight of Scientific Initiation projects for theater students is a key responsibility. Additionally, Marcelo has been a Professor de Teatro, Actor, and Director at Faculdade Paulista de Artes since August 2005. Previously, Marcelo coordinated a theater teaching team for the Programa Vocacional in São Paulo from February 2004 to November 2011, and taught acting and directed student productions at Escola INCENNA between March 2005 and November 2006. Marcelo holds a Doutorado em Artes Cênicas with a focus on theatrical pedagogy from USP - Universidade de São Paulo (2012-2015), a Mestrado em Artes Cênicas from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2010-2012), and a degree in Acting from Escola de Arte Dramática - ECA USP (1998-2001).
