Carlos Henrique Pereira Mello

Carlos Henrique Pereira Mello serves as the Presidente do conselho de administração at INOVAI - Associação Itajubense de Empreendedorismo e Inovação since March 2023. At Universidade Federal de Itajubá, Carlos has been a Full Professor and serves as a researcher at the Center for Manufacturing Optimization and Innovation Technology (NOMATI), with a focus on Product Development Process Management, Open Innovation Management, and Usability and Human Factors Engineering in Medical Devices. Carlos has held various academic positions, including Director of Technological and Business Extension and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Production Engineering. Prior roles include quality management consultant at Hinshitsu Consultoria e Treinamento Ltda, and experience in leadership roles at SUMIDENSO DO BRASIL Indústrias Elétricas Ltda and Invicta S/A. Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the University of São Paulo and both a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá.
