Stefano Cherti is a distinguished academic and legal expert with extensive experience in private law and consumer rights. Currently serving as a member of the Consultative Committee at the Fondazione per l'Educazione Finanziaria e al Risparmio, Stefano also holds the position of Professor of Private Law and Economic Law at the Università degli Studi di Cassino since December 2006. In addition, Stefano is a member of the Banking Financial Arbitrator at Banca d'Italia - Collegio di Roma, appointed by the CNCU, and has acted as Legal Consultant for Consumer and Market Law at Unione Nazionale Consumatori since 2013. There is a longstanding commitment to legal education demonstrated through teaching roles at the Scuola Forense "Vittorio Emanuele Orlando" and prior technical advisory work with the Ministry of Economic Development. Stefano's educational accomplishments include a Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza from Università degli studi Roma TRE and advanced studies in European Private Law in both Salzburg and Münster.
