Gianluca Ruggieri

Gianluca Ruggieri serves as an Assistant Professor and researcher in Environmental Technology Physics at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria since March 2006, focusing on environmental engineering and the legislative mechanisms for enhancing energy efficiency. Ruggieri co-founded è nostra, a cooperative supplier of ethical and sustainable electricity, and previously held a similar role at Retenergie, which specializes in renewable energy production. In addition to academic responsibilities, Ruggieri has authored multiple books on energy transitions and sustainable practices, collaborates with Radio Popolare Milano as a curator and host of "Il Giusto Clima," and has been a member of the master's course council at Politecnico e Università Studi di Milano since 2010. Ruggieri holds a degree in environmental engineering from Politecnico di Milano and has contributed expertise to various initiatives aimed at promoting renewable energy and social equity.
