Donato De Benedetto

Born in Tricase (Le) on 7 August 1968. He graduated in Economic and Banking Sciences at the University of Salento (formerly the University of Lecce).

He has been General Manager of the University of Salento since 9 April 2018.

He began his career in 1989 at the University of Padua and then continued it within the University, holding the role of Regent General Manager in 2015.

Doctor De Benedetto has held other positions in the University. In particular, he was Deputy Director General (2014 - 2015), Director of the Financial Affairs Department (2004 - 2006) and Administrative Director of the Foundation for the management of the University Botanical Garden (2007 - 2010).

Since 2006, he has held the role of Manager in the Finance and Negotiations Division, formerly the Financial Affairs Division.
