Dian Ekawati

Dian Ekawati is an experienced educator and translator currently serving as an Asesor Penerjemah Tersumpah at Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Universitas Indonesia since November 2021. Concurrently, Dian holds positions as a Lecturer and Head of the German Department at Universitas Padjadjaran, a role that has been maintained since June 1999. Previously, Dian contributed to the academic community as Lehrbeauftragte für Indonesisch at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg from October 2010 to December 2012 and at Universität Bayreuth from October 2003 to September 2006. Academic qualifications include a Doktorin der Philosophie in Interkulturelle Germanistik from the University of Bayreuth (2009-2013), a Magister in Interkulturelle Germanistik, Linguistik, and Pädagogik from the same institution (2003-2006), and a Bachelor's degree in Deutsche Sprache und Literatur from Universitas Padjadjaran (1992-1999).
