Universitas Syiah Kuala
Syiah Kuala University (Unsyiah) founded on 2 September 1961 is one of the leading universities in Indonesia. It is located in the Province of Aceh. The name of the university is taken from the prominent theologian, Tengku Abdur Rauf As Singkili a.k.a. Teungku Syiah Kuala (Acehnese, means Sheikh Ulamā in Kuala), who lived in the 16th century.
