Christian Mata is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) since 2016. Additionally, Christian holds the position of Scientific Researcher and Project Manager at the Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu, as well as a Scientific Researcher at the Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering. Christian is also an Adjunct Associate Professor and Researcher at the Université de Bourgogne, focusing on medical imaging tools in prostate cancer. With a background that includes a PhD in Computer Vision and Robotics from UPC, multiple MSc degrees in the same field from Heriot-Watt University and Université de Bourgogne, and experience in various research and industry roles including web development, Christian Mata has significantly contributed to the fields of medical image processing and technological risk studies.
