Jose A Garcia-Regueiro

Jose A Garcia-Regueiro has extensive experience in food science and chemistry, having served as the Laboratory Adviser of Chemical and Physical Analysis at IRTA since April 1982. Responsibilities included coordinating laboratory management and supporting the development of new analytical methods to enhance food analysis. Garcia-Regueiro has contributed as a retired coordinator of the Research Program Functionality and Nutrition, focusing on workflow improvements and the integration of digital tools in laboratory practices. Additionally, Garcia-Regueiro held the position of Head of the Food Chemistry Unit, conducting research in food chemistry. A retired faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Universitat de Girona, Garcia-Regueiro holds a PhD in Chemistry from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master's degree in Nutrition and Health from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
