Borja Requena Pozo

Borja Requena Pozo is an experienced academic and researcher specializing in machine learning and quantum science. Currently serving as an Invited Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra since September 2020, Borja teaches the machine learning component in the MSc of Multidisciplinary Research in Experimental Sciences. Borja is also pursuing a PhD at ICFO in the Quantum Optics Theory group and has held various academic roles, including Invited Lecturer at the University of Barcelona, where contributions included course design and material preparation for the MSc in Quantum Science and Technology. Additional experience encompasses software development at Xanadu, focusing on the PennyLane quantum computing library, teaching physics to engineering students at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and conducting research in brain-computer interface technology at Telefonica I+D. Borja holds a Master's degree in Intelligent Interactive Systems from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
