Oscar Camara

Oscar Camara has a strong academic and research background. Oscar is currently the Director of the Engineering School at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they have been a Full Professor since 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Professor from 2012 to 2019 and was a Ramon y Cajal Research fellow from 2007 to 2012 at the same institution. Oscar is also a Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at MiWEndo Solutions since 2019. Oscar Camara has served as a Visiting Researcher at Auckland Bioengineering Institute from 2018 to 2019. Oscar started their career as a Research Fellow in the CMIC group at University College London from 2005 to 2007 and at King's College London from 2004 to 2005. Oscar completed their Ph.D. at ENST Paris from 2000 to 2003.

Oscar Camara holds a PhD in Medical Image Processing from Tél￩￩com Paris, which they earned from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Telecommunications Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 1994 to 1999.
